Job Overview:
As an EKG Technologist, the incumbent performs all routine and special EKG related procedures, trains Medical Technologists and ancillary staff in EKG procedures, maintains the EKG quality control program. The EKG Technologist functions in accordance with Shared Health’s mission, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, and any applicable legislation.
What you’ll have:
- Must be proficient in related diagnostic procedures, ability to operate and maintain equipment.
- Ability to build a productive and efficient team-bases working environment.
- Certified and currently registered with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists.
- Ability to teach and supervise others.
- Several years related experience and/or demonstrated experience sufficient to perform duties.
- Advanced Registered Cardiology Technician.
- Supervisory experience and/or training an asset.
