Position Summary:
As part of the Global Technology Strategy organization, this role will be a crucial enabler of our Next Generation Tech Stack (NGTS) program engagement with our stakeholders. This leader will own the engagement with a specific segment of our initiative and maintain the working relationship with all stakeholders, within Technology and the Business. You will work collaboratively with product management and engineering teams to ensure on time delivery with quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building best class program management practice – drive maturity of program management with best practice, processes, and framework. Enhance program management skills and competency.
- Operating with excellence – Set an example in managing to KPIs, delivering excellence, presenting at all levels, and developing yourself and others.
- Building engagement with cross functional teams – drive engagement with hundreds of engineering teams within Walmart Global Technology to align the execution of critical business initiatives & programs and ensure successful delivery.
- Building strategic relationships – manage numerous stakeholders, anticipate their needs, and gain alignment for strategies from executive level stakeholders
- Developing program management practice – influence program management organization with well-defined processes and best practice to improve the efficiency in program execution.
- Driving execution of business initiatives – work with product management and engineering teams to define key milestones for business initiatives and drive the execution to complete all deliverables in time
- Articulating program success – present program success to executives with strong communication skills (oral, verbal and listening) as well as the ability to influence key decision makers and understand their points of view
