Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced UX Designer to join our Digital Retail team. The role includes working collaboratively with a UX Writer, and Digital Designer to enhance the experiences on the Best Buy Canada website, through email communication, and other touchpoints.

What you’ll do:

  • UX Strategy: Collaborates with XD Cohort, and other team members to contribute to the evolution of experiences
  • Interaction Design: Understands the basics of how to create Interaction Design artifacts (Wireframes, User flows etc.)
  • User Research and Evaluation: Leveraging user research technique (e.g., usability testing and analytics) to better understand our customers and how they engage with our site to evolve and iterate experiences
  • UX Strategy: Contributes to the documentation of experience strategies
  • Interaction Design: Basic understanding of the tools used to generate Interaction Design artifacts
  • Collaboration: Partnering with the experience design cohort within Product Technology group to solve challenges through web technology and CMS solutions
  • Collaboration: Working collaboratively with marketing, business partners, and your peers in the retail experience design community to build iterative and scalable solutions

  • 2-3 years of experience as a UX Designer, preferably with a bachelor’s degree or Certificate: HCI, Interaction Design, Digital Design, or related experience.
