Position Summary:
Responsible to provide User Experience and User Interface design direction to a multi-disciplinary team of specialists who are committed to designing the future of Momentum’s loyalty and rewards experience and delivering unique and innovative digital solutions. This role requires solid experience with user experience, usability, user interface design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the best possible user experience for the momentum digital channels.
- Responsible for the User Experience and User Interface design of the Momentum loyally product across all the digital platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Follow a User Centred Design approach to execute on new business requirements.
- Responsible for building, maintaining the design standards as well as contributing towards the overall Momentum design system.
- Incorporate market analysis, customer feedback, digital analytics, site metrics, and usability findings into designs.
- Conduct user research such as usability testing and competitor reviews.
- Wireframes and prototyping of user interfaces.
- Work in a collaborative team and work directly with developers for implementation of designs.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX and UI problems.
Required Education & Experience:
- Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) or similar certification would be desirable.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (essential).
- Portfolio of recent work.
- Matric (essential).
- Visual Design qualification is an advantage.
