Position Summary:

The Technical Training Instructor, Vehicle Body and Paint Repair position requires someone who is flexible, highly organized, and hard working. Individuals should have a passion for and understanding of personal development through the training process. Individuals must have outstanding communication, presentation and organizational skills while demonstrating a positive, motivational, and professional appearance. The Technical Training Instructor, Vehicle Body and Paint Repair will be responsible for facilitating instructor led trainings to support the development of the manufacturing teams at the Austin, Texas Factory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relentless dedication to employee safety and care regarding vehicle mutilations.
  • Facilitation of skill assessments and skills certifications of repair technicians
  • Ensuring proper documentation and rosters are being utilized, submitted, maintained
  • Identifying and complete Continuous Improvements regarding training content and operations
  • Keep up to date with the latest revisions of process operations, and area cross-training to allow for a flexible, efficient work team
  • Facilitation of in person training programs, delivered with high level of quality

Required Education & Experience:

  • Familiarity with Objective based training theory, ADDIE process and functional assessment settings
  • Maintain and perform top level professional integrity and appearance as a Training Professional
  • Ability to work on computers, sit, and reach a screen
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including solid interpersonal skills
  • Experience providing on-the-job training with manufacturing personnel.
  • Proven ability to be highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity or expertise with Learning Management Systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
  • Worked in a manufacturing operations environment – workday may often be spent engaging in repetitious duties like lifting (up to 25 pounds), bending, and standing
  • 2 years leadership experience preferred – Demonstrates personal leadership and accountability
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate from Vocational School in Automotive Repair or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Forklift driving experience is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook
