Position Summary:
The Talent Management Specialist is a key ambassador of the TFG employer brand through designing talent management strategies that attract and source high caliber talent, aligned with business and brand strategies as well as opportunities identified through the talent capability and talent planning processes.
This role will manage all aspects of people planning to include recruitment of new employees, employee on – boarding and integration, talent succession planning, internal talent marketplace and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- End to end design and incubation of the TFG ITM (internal talent marketplace) – (career pathing, project opportunities and secondments, technology enabled matching of skill and preference to vacancies)
- End to end process design for the attraction and tracking of new employees
- Accountable for the on boarding process design for all business units across stores, distribution centres, and contact centres and head office
- Accountability for a robust and regular high potential employee identification and retention process.
- End to end youth pipeline management process design (Youth recruitment, Development partnerships, Bursaries)
- Engagement with external stakeholders (agencies, higher educational institutions)
- Accountability for executive succession planning with a key focus on transformation at the Senior management occupational level
- Accountable for compliance related polices and processes relating to talent management (pre-employment verification, recruitment, on boarding, succession planning)
- Design and deliver a suitable platform for an integrated one view of employee (Employee profiles)
- Build visibility of the competence gap between the future fit workplace and current workforce and address the skills gap with the Talent Development and Skills specialists

- HR Related Degree or equivalent working experience
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- 8 – 10 years’ experience in Talent Management (recruitment, talent planning, and succession planning)
