Position Summary:
As a Sr. Staff Software Engineering Manager for the Client Core team, you will be responsible for managing a team of full stack engineers working to build robust and scalable platforms for Venmo mobile engineering. You will drive the development and optimization of core components of the application such as networking, data storage, authentication and much more. You should be comfortable with leading and working cross functionally to deliver projects, while also being at the ready to read and write code if needed.
Required Education & Experience:
- Experience mentoring and developing software engineers
- 3+ years of experience managing a team of software engineers of 5 of more
- 7+ years experience in software development or a related field
- Experience working in a native or cross-platform mobile stack (Swift/Obj-C, Java/Kotlin, React
- Native, Flutter), and experience in mobile application development and mobile app release processes
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (must be able to give honest, direct, and actionable feedback)
