Position Summary:
Be an expert within the Infinity Services Partner Company IT organization. Responsible for the architecture, design, and delivery of Operational Support Systems (OSS), and Business Support Systems (BSS) including Rating & Billing solutions. Technical lead for critical organizational initiatives for all customer segments (Consumer, Enterprise, SOHO, SME, Large Corporate, and Public). Acting as technology’s first contact point together with the Solution Architect team relative to product, application, and IT relevant developments. Collaborate with the Solution Architect to design solutions that fit into the Infinity Organization and Client IT architecture, by providing advice, guidance, E2E scope delivery, and full management in line with business demands and constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participates in and guides the development of functional requirements and user documentation.
- Ensure releases are functioning correctly once implemented in production.
- Define and document technical system functions (FDS, LLD, Sequence Diagrams, etc) that meet business requirements.
- Supports testing of new or enhanced applications and/or systems and guides junior team members on case development, requirement traceability analysis, test preparation, scriptwriting, and functional test execution.
- Ensure the defects or bugs for identified application issues.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to validate test plans against user stories or business requirements.
- Communicate regularly with internal customers at all levels, who rely on current and accurate data to make informed decisions.
- Accountable for system architecture solutions, functional designs, and delivery.
- Assist and lead when required the Quality Assurance to test application functionality against the test plan and provide feedback.
- Perform Feasibility and impact analysis of proposed solutions to current systems & processes for reuse.
- Define logical and physical solution designs that support business requirements.
- Drive and ensure that the SIT and UAT sign-off are obtained before being released to production.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure change requests are raised and approved by all parties before releases.
- Analyze new requirements and determine appropriate solutions to these requirements while maintaining compliance with standards/controls.
- Collaborate with business analysts to verify user stories or business requirements with the development team.
- Uses thorough knowledge of business needs to provide design support to software and application development teams.
- Undertake quality assurance of required artifacts to ensure appropriate architectural decisions are taken.
- Facilitate design authority and Solution Architect sessions to elicit user stories or business requirements.
What you’ll have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT Diploma in Information Systems, and Systems Architecture Technology.
- At least 3 -5 years’ experience in the least three disciplines, such as business, information, solution architecture, and applications (CRM, Billing, Customer Care, Collections, Integration, Self Service Channels).
- Extensive exposure to multiple, diverse technologies (AWS Cloud, DxL, API, BSS/OSS).
- Experience working with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, Backlog refinement, etc
- Matric/ Garde 12 is essential.
- Extensive experience in business capability modeling and technical and solution architecture development (ETOM, TOGAF ADM).
- Professional experience and knowledge of the Telecommunications industry are strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of how the business and Customer Experience operate.
- At least 3 -5 years of experience in Systems design and Process Modelling Management.
- 3-5 years of Exposure & Exposure to both IT and Business or similar roles.
