Job Overview:

The role will be focused on planning, tracking and managing delivery of test environments for multiple programs/projects as well as the monitoring, alerting and incident management for all operational environments.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the resolutions for Support issues like Environment Outages, Deployment Issues, Integration failures etc.
  • Develop and deliver all aspects of operational Environment monitoring, support and Performance/Availability reporting.
  • Perform Status reporting and Stakeholder Management
  • Analyze key application metrics to identify opportunities for application performance improvements
  • Manage third party vendor and stakeholder relationships
  • Develop and enhance governance, process and tool sets as they relate to environment management group function
  • Generate consensus and solicit sign-off for environment requirements
  • Lead discussions with project teams to assess requirements and set expectations
  • Assess and recommend new tool sets that will bring additional value and efficiency to the Environment Management team
  • Ensure stakeholder visibility and awareness is maintained
  • Engage business and project resources to provide leadership and oversight on end to end environment delivery.
  • Enhance and refine nonfunctional performance monitoring profiles to produce high value metrics reporting to be delivered at an executive level
  • Deliver regular status reports to project teams based on established communication plans
  • Work within the established Enterprise Application Monitoring tool set to assess and recommend application monitoring profiles
  • Manage Risk, Assumptions, Issues and Dependency for environment delivery
  • Fulfill environment delivery within agreed timelines and requirements and ensure quality of all end to end components
  • Evaluate non-functional application monitoring KPI’s that will provide a comprehensive measurement of application performance
  • Manage issues, escalations and risks at program or project level
  • Communicate risks and provide leadership in options/solutions to mitigate risk impact
  • Work with support teams to establish support protocols and process in relation to application monitoring alerts and alarms
  • Ensure requirements and expectations are understood by all parties at both business and technical levels
  • Proactively identify potential risks to project delivery, timelines and resource utilization
  • Enhance/introduce workflow improvements and automation
  • Develop and enhance application and environment availability reporting within the Enterprise Application Monitoring tool set
  • Perform metric baselining and trending analysis that will provide key information in forecasting application behavior in production

What you’ll have:

  • University completion at the undergraduate level with a specialty focus in computer science and certification in and ITIL Foundations V3.
  • Six years prior experience in application/infrastructure deployment and project management.
