We have a full-time opportunity for a Training Content Designer. Reporting to the Training and Development Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for designing and developing functional and technical training content in collaboration with functional experts.
What you’ll do:
- Develop training content by proposing appropriate, creative and innovative learning methods and solutions in collaboration with functional experts, including learning assessment tools;
- Act as a facilitator in the training of trainers for new initiatives, analyze alternative methods and use appropriate methodologies, such as self-study, virtual training, face-to-face, online learning, depending on user needs and operational constraints.
- Analyse the audience to offer/adapt the appropriate training
- Conduct training needs assessments, create, improve and adapt different training materials to support the training and skills development of store employees and managers.
What you’ll have:
- You can manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while meeting established deadlines
- You are proficient with software: Articulate360, Camtasia, Vyond
- You are creative
- You have basic skills in project management
- You have completed a recognized education or training program in education, andragogy or educational technology combined with five (5) years experience in a training department.
- You prefer a collaborative approach
- You are fluently bilingual, both written and spoken (English and French).
- You are familiar with classroom and online training content development techniques based on the ADDIE methodology and have experience in managing training projects.
- You have a strong experience in the training needs assessment process
