Job Overview:
Reporting to the Chief Digital Strategy Officer, the candidate will participate in all digital marketing activities for Sobeys in Quebec (IGA, Rachelle Béry, Les Marchés Tradition, Bonichoix). Working in a dynamic environment, the candidate will be responsible for the daily execution of complete and integrated digital projects and campaigns, as well as participating in digital projects and optimizing the omnichannel offer in order to increase brand exposure on the various digital platforms, engagement with the digital ecosystem and qualified traffic to stores and web properties.
What you’ll do:
- Align the planning and digital media buying of advertising campaigns in collaboration with other marketing teams;
- Support the content and brand strategy team in the optimization of editorial and marketing content on digital platforms, including channel-specific optimizations, SEO, cross-platform customer journeys;
- In conjunction with the analytics and research team and external partners, use and track quantitative and qualitative key performance indicators to optimize various tactics and activations;
- Ensure the quality of the company’s presence on social networks, in addition to influencer partnerships, in order to protect the image and consistency of the brands.
- Optimize the digital ecosystem of Sobeys’ brands in Quebec to ensure an omnichannel experience for consumers and users;
- Participate in various digital development projects, from planning to launch, including all optimization processes, in order to align solutions and functionality with banner objectives;
- Actively monitor the brand, competitors, new trends and innovations, and emerging technologies in order to integrate them into the digital marketing strategies;
What you’ll have:
- You have excellent knowledge of digital marketing, social media marketing, influencer marketing, email marketing and brand management.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics 360, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Data Studio, Social Studio, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and basic HTML/CSS are important assets.
- You have superior written and oral communication skills in both French and English.
- You have good leadership skills, great autonomy and the ability to juggle several complex files simultaneously.
- You have a strong interest in food.
- You understand the challenges and potential of organic and paid search engine optimization.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or e-commerce, coupled with 6 years of experience (any other combination deemed equivalent will be considered).
- You are passionate about new technologies and digital innovations, and the web in general.
