What you’ll do:

  • Support Loyalty on any special projects as required such as capability enhancements, system design, testing and approvals;
  • Recommend and create product offers based on defined strategies/objectives on a campaign by campaign basis, leveraging Sobeys Offer Management to find product level details;
  • Identifies and resolve deliverability issues, bounce backs, spam complaints, and opt-outs;
  • Support Manager in the development, communication and presentation of Loyalty strategies and initiatives as subject matter expert on DTC communications and loyalty offers;
  • Identify any process/capability improvement opportunities.
  • Responsible for building and overseeing the execution multi-channel customer journeys in channels like email, push and SMS messages. The specialist will be building emails, overseeing the execution of sends and reporting results based on the brand strategies. They will be building scalable processes for the team to ensure we’re operating effectively and efficiently;
  • Manage the creation of campaign briefs (journeys) to hand off to cross functional loyalty team;
  • Maintain a high level of customer service with all Stakeholders/business teams;
  • Build and maintain email lists;
  • Communicate and document A/B test plans, project status and strategic recommendations;
  • Develop testing and QA strategies for campaign optimization and to ensure accurate and error-free execution of content;
  • Deep understanding of segmentation, data and database structure;
  • Manages email deployment calendar and keep email segments up-to-date and in accordance with strategies;
  • Understand and ensure email best practices are maintained;
  • Monitors performance of email campaigns and implementing strategies for optimization;
  • Build, test and deploy campaigns, customer journey’s and triggers;

What you’ll have:

  • Either grocery or retail industry experience an asset;
  • 3-5 years experience in a Marketing/Loyalty Marketing Role, with direct to customer experience;
  • Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment;
  • Forecasting Experience;
  • Project Management experience;
  • CRM capabilities experience, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud;
  • Bilingual (French & English, written and spoken).
