Position Summary:
To provide technical expertise and quality control services to maximise the reliability and availability of equipment to meet the business objectivity
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages and conducts product, equipment, material, service and change impact evaluations
- Develops and approves discipline specific philosophies, technical standards, procedures, work practices and specifications for approval.
- Conducts discipline-specific research into new technologies.
- Provides input into discipline-specific technology vision, strategy and direction setting.
- Provide a technical supporting and investigation service for customers.
- Participate in national and international technical forums.
- Produces and integrates engineering solution / designs for assets creation on behalf of customers at various stages of the project life cycle.
- Provides professional technical leadership over engineers within their own discipline.
Required Education & Experience:
- Project management principles
- Management of technology projects
- Knowledge and understanding of all electrical plant systems, network design and operation
- Risk analysis principles
- BSc. Eng / B.Eng in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Computer, Civil,
- Metallurgical or Industrial Engineering
- Be able to work as part f the team
- Strong driven to learn
- Professional Registration: ECSA registered Pr. Eng
