Position Summary:
The Service Consultant is responsible for the management and servicing of direct personal lines insurance high nett worth client portfolios whilst ensuring a balance between the company’s business priorities including growth and client retention whilst adhering to the insurance needs of clients, in conjunction with Financial Services Regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to Day management/assistance to clients and ensuring portfolio profitability
- Maintaining and improving agreed client service levels
- Processing of Renewals
- Delivering excellent client service
- Servicing of dedicated client portfolios
- Retention of current client portfolio
- Maintaining and building client relationships
- Growing current client portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of short-term insurance products
- Credit control/Unpaid Debit Orders/Account Queries
- Identifying cross selling opportunities and provide leads
- Underwriting on multi claimants/high loss ratio clients
- Assist clients with claim forms and queries
Required Education & Experience:
- Extensive knowledge of the Short-Term Insurance Industry
- FAIS Credits (min 30 credits in short term insurance if date of first appointment is before 2010); or if date of first appointment is on or after 01/01/2010, a full recognised qualification as per the FSCA qualification list
