Position Summary:
As our Senior Product Manager for Catalogue you’ll have a deep understanding of how digital product catalogues, structured product information and schemas enable and improve customer features and experiences.
What you’ll do:
- Produce excellent documentation including stories, acceptance criteria, root cause analysis, process and workflow diagrams and ERDs
- Collaborate and communicate with internal and external partners to build, test, implement and operationalise initiatives
- Create, own and maintain the product roadmap, including the scoping, sizing and prioritisation of initiatives that will deliver value against KPIs
- Drive the execution and delivery of your team’s goals
- Write detailed product specifications, collaborating closely with BI, Analytics, Design and Engineering teams to ensure business impact and customer value
- Develop a strong partnership with engineering in order to execute effectively
- Define metrics and track progress against them regularly
- This includes running day-to-day ceremonies of a product team including standup, planning, grooming and retrospectives
- Communicate plans and progress to cross-functional partners and leadership
- Work closely with the Marketplace business unit to triage and prioritise operational issues
What you’ll have:
- High situational fluency
- Proven success in business process improvement/re-engineering
- Ability to own product data lifecycle understanding and issue investigation for data integrity, governance and support of launches
- Possess a detailed understanding of hierarchies, hierarchy management and strategic processes is preferred
- You will provide direct visibility to senior leadership on all aspects of your products on a regular cadence
- You will have end to end ownership – all the way from defining the strategy to measuring metrics to monitoring day to day progress of these products
- Strong quantitative and qualitative business and data analysis skills
- Comfort and experience in utilising technologies to solve these complex real-world business problems including Product Information
- Management (PIM) tools, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Image Recognition and other technologies
