Position Summary:
The NFL is seeking a Product Designer to work on Fantasy gaming and Legal Sports Gambling experiences. Our Product designers combine expert-level interaction design and design-thinking skills to support the day-to-day operations of the design team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize work and resources that impact short and long-term goals.
- Collaborate with the ux, research, and technology teams.
- Work with Product Managers in an agile sprint-based system.
- Build an understanding of the unique constraints and dynamics of the NFL, its teams, and fans.
- Foster User Centered Design processes across the team.
- Prototype, test and iterate concepts with fans.
- Comprehensive awareness of design, technology trends and best practices.
- Design user-centered experiences for applications and websites that are engaging, cohesive and interactive.
Required Education & Experience:
- Experience designing solutions for a wide variety of technologies.
- Ability to mentor, guide, and delegate to other product and creative designers.
- Polished presentation skills used to communicate with internal and external teams.
- Working knowledge of the capabilities of mobile, tablet, web, and connected tv platforms.
- University degree in a relevant design, business, technology, or social science discipline.
- Working experience with the terms, rules and games of fantasy football.
- Expertise in experience, interaction, visual design.
- Build and manage relationships with stakeholders, clients, and vendors.
- 4+ years of experience working in a Design capacity for various types of organizations (start-up, corporate, agency/consultancy).
- Knowledge of how comps translate to code and its limitations.
- Experience working within an agile system.
