Position Summary:
This leader will manage the data analytics team for Air Operations, including IKC team members. The successful candidate will need to provide oversight on all Air Operations data reporting and dashboard development with the goal of driving sound decisions on new processes, tools, reports, dashboards, insights, etc… to improve efficiency for Air Ops groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate operational reliability insights for senior leadership (e-Team)
- Coordinate and lead data engineering and digital technology teams to fix and enhance existing reporting and dashboard infrastructure developed for Air Operations, CSC, and field leaders
- Management of direct reports, comms, reviews, Knowledge Skills and Abilities Sharing/Development, mentor, etc.…
- Develop new reports and insights for Air Operations senior leadership
Required Education & Experience:
- Programming/Coding experience
- Airline Experience
- Intermediate to expert knowledge of Microsoft suite of tools
- Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Administration or a related field
- Dashboarding and Data Visualization experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Spotfire or other dashboarding business intelligence tools
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years managing a team of direct reports
- JS/NodeJS, HTML, CSS, Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code, GitHub
- 5 years of Operations Analytics experience
- Task/System/Reporting Automation experience
- Beginner to intermediate Python/VB/VBA knowledge
