Required Education & Experience:

  • Ability to prioritize workload.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing
  • Knowledge of firearms and ammunition (may include but not limited to: firearm operating principles, firearm design principles, firearm operating cycles, the meaning/significance of firearm markings/proofs marks, firearm terminology, firearm component names, ammunition terminology and ammunition hand-loading procedures).
  • Experience using the Firearms Reference Table (FRT)
  • Experience applying standard operating polices and quality assurance practices.
  • Ability in preparing reports and technical documents
  • Experience preparing court documentation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally
  • Knowledge of Part III of the Criminal Code and associated regulations, including the Firearms Act.
