Position Summary:
Pilot Senior Crew Schedulers (Crew Coordinators) ensure that all flights in our reliable World Wide network are properly staffed with a legal flight crew in support of Core4 as it relates to United’s goal of providing safe, efficient and reliable air transportation for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign pilots to flying while ensuring strict compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and the United Pilot Agreement (UPA)
- Monitor, analyze and resolve complex problems with pilot schedules and legalities
- Work in a 24/7 fast-paced operation requiring work on weekends, nights and holidays
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of the FARs and UPA
- Provide a high level of customer service as part of the 24-hour round-the-clock support for our pilot work group
- Provides crew coordination for United Airlines pilots
- Provide cost effective solutions
- Work well under pressure and be adaptable to change
Required Education & Experience:
- Successful track record of working independently as well as part of a team
- 1+ years of experience as a Crew Scheduler
- Must possess strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- High School diploma
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
- B.A. in Aviation
- Must be able to perform with a high level of accuracy
- Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
