Key Responsibilities:

  • Recognition initiatives ensuring that each event remains on schedule from the award nomination process through post completion follow-up and programming
  • Ensure the right information about the state of a project is delivered to the correct audience at the right time
  • Coordinates awards selection nomination process and committees to ensure all nominees meet the program eligibility criteria (United 100, etc.)
  • Develop and monitor recognition/rewards program execution plans and high-level plans and detailed timelines
  • Collaborates closely with TR leaders and key partners (HR, Finance, Corporate Communications, Procurement, Legal) in supporting the execution of an enterprise recognition vision and strategy
  • Responsible for the operational, day to day interface and successful collaboration with key Vendor Partner’s
  • Prepares and maintains a yearly timeline for all current and emerging
  • In partnership with divisional leaders, supports implementation a company-wide Recognition ambassador network
  • Supports the development of statements of work and partner with key collaborators such as Procurement and Finance to ensure corporate compliance
  • Leverage’s metrics to analyze and evaluate program effectiveness and develop thoughtful recommendations on how to improve the program going forward
  • Identify roadblocks, drive the resolution of problems, and either handle their resolution or ensure a clear hand-off to the right owner
  • Works with vendors to fulfill achievement awards, and handle quality control of orders
  • Supports the coordination and logistics for awards ceremonies, including the identification of attendees and keynote speakers, the ordering of awards trophies, and works closely with the Communications and Creative/Marketing teams to develop scripts and nominee bios for each of these events
  • Responsible for budget tracking and reporting
  • Works with Sr. Manager Recognition to influence program priorities and strategy through data-driven contributions
  • Regularly review metrics and proactively seek out new and improved data/mechanisms for visibility

Required Education & Experience:

  • Knowledge and understanding of global compensation practices, particularly related to employee rewards programs
  • Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement
  • Demonstrates personal dedication to the Working Together Guidelines and behaviors in all aspects of efforts and interaction with colleagues and partners
  • Ability to prioritize work and adjust for timelines
  • Ability to lead across a complex global organization with direct and indirect matrixed teams
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Experience efficiently leading projects across teams of global collaborators
  • 2+ years Vendor management experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly and to get work done leveraging a network of collaborators
  • 2+ years of experience with HR/compensation related programs, including rewards and recognition programs
  • Interface at all levels of the organization, including with executive level stakeholders
  • Ability to work successfully with all levels at the company and have a good understanding of employee’s needs and requirements
  • Strong detail and process orientation
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Economics, IO psychology or related fields or 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
