Position Summary:
The incumbent will function in a supportive role to the management team, representing the CCI in the provincial BMT initiatives about apheresis and cellular therapy. The position works to ensure Alberta Health Services (AHS) values, goals, and principles are implemented and integrated into the delivery of services to client groups. Understanding the business needs of AHS and assisting with the successful translation of these needs into system solutions is crucial.
Required Education & Experience:

Baccalaureate preparation in a health-related discipline. A minimum of 5 years experience in leading projects, QI initiatives, or project management. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered.

Experience and knowledge in accreditation processes, QI methodology, gap analysis, group facilitation and outcome/evaluation strategies. Computer knowledge and proficiency related to databases, word processing, spreadsheets, flowcharting, graphics and document management systems such as Share Pointe. Strong and proven analytical and statistical analysis skills. Facilitation and/or coordination experience in project planning, execution, reporting, monitoring and evaluation. Significant experience in problem-solving concerns resolution, investigation, and negotiation. Team leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision-making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills, client-focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Experience in coordinating projects or teams, complex data analysis and/or interpretation, evaluation methodologies, and developing formal reports.

Masters or PhD preparation preferred. Knowledge of the Northern Alberta BMT program and Quality System design experience an asset.
