Required Education & Experience:
- Ability to use reasoning skills to solve problems.
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout service area (i.e. BC and Yukon) on a weekly basis
- Willingness and ability to work extended hours, or adjust work schedule, with little or no notice, to meet operational requirements
- Physical ability for lifting of heavy or awkward items up to 18 kg
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally.
- Ability to plan and manage workload (e.g. set priorities, meet deadlines).
- Experience providing technical support and guidance to users.
- Knowledge of current Microsoft operating systems such as Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 and Windows 10.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel or their industry equivalents
- Knowledge of IT security.
- Experience implementing and supporting audio, video, alarm, or access control projects.
- Knowledge of equipment and configurations applicable to LAN/WAN based systems.
- Knowledge of video camera installation techniques, determination of field of view and remote camera control.
- Able and willing to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- A valid driver’s license
