Position Summary:
Main purpose is to grow the Projects, Mining and Oil & Gas verticals through market intelligence.
Role will also be focused on maintaining and building more strategic relationships with current clients in this space. Importantly, the role will require individual to provide insight and direction to DSV’s commercial approach when tendering for new projects. This role is subject to meeting set commercial targets as defined by the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support New Business with regards to signing on additional business
- Profit maximization on business tendered for
- Attend and complete the designated training for this role
- Business value propositions
- Close collaboration with DSV Product Leads
- Acquire new business GP for the Projects vertical
- Building and Maintaining relationship with key business partners
- Legal reviews of contracts awarded
- Grow the Projects, Mining + Oil & Gas Verticals with new opportunities and Market Intelligence
- Contract negotiations and signing off of new opportunities by relevant Executive Sponsor
- Stakeholder account and relationship management (both internal and external)
- Tender, proposal and contract development
- Consultative selling
- Executive level engagement for new opportunities
Required Education & Experience:
- Ability to work overtime when required
- National Diploma / B. Degree/ B. Tech preferable.
- Valid endorsed driver’s license
- Own reliable vehicle
- Minimum 3 – 5 years client facing project experience (Mining, Oil & Gas) in Logistics, Supply Chain or Freight Forwarding/Shipping Line.
- Ability to travel locally and internationally
- Sales Training Courses an advantage
