Position Summary:
Responsible for managing smaller, lower complexity projects or specific deliverables on larger initiatives. Provide facilitation, support and coordination for projects and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with team to breakdown work into smaller components or features and to identify critical path
- Manage risk, action, issues and decisions log
- Work with development teams to ensure work is completed as planned. Follow analytical methods for task execution/tracking and budget/timeline tracking
- Drive testing and acceptance of project results for smaller projects
- Define simple project plans/roadmaps and execute tasks defined in project plan to achieve project goals using standard project management methodologies and practices
- Partner, communicate, and build relationships to gather Customer and business requirements and communicate effectively with Project Team and support groups
- Analyze impact of problems and facilitate resolution, and escalate to Leadership as needed
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders
- Complete assigned and project tasks with minimal direction
- Prepare presentations & agendas, schedule meetings and record minutes for Project meetings
- Assess project needs continually and resources to complete projects on time and within budget
Required Education & Experience:
- Ability to facilitate discussions to drive team and business customers toward decisions
- Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
- Knowledge of the impact a specific application has on operational and business functions
- Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
- Knowledge of the interplay between technology applications and systems infrastructure
- Knowledge of Agile development practices and ceremonies
- Skilled in active listening, presenting, and facilitating team and stakeholder meetings
- Skilled in strong Customer Service and Team orientation
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure and accurately assess problem situations along with working effectively in a fast paced, collaborative, Team based environment
- Required: Intermediate-level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in project management
- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks by scheduled completion date
- Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to demonstrate emerging Leadership skills to give direction to outside Contractors and maintain positive relationships with internal Customers
- Proficient knowledge of project processes, problem management tools and procedures
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
- Must be at least 18 years of age
