Position Summary:

Responsible for the design, testing, evaluation, implementation, and support of various platforms (hardware, operating systems, software, and systems tools). Provide consultation and direct technical support in life cycle planning, problem management, integration, and systems programming. Implement releases, upgrades, and/or changes into the environment. Ensure platform performance and availability to meet enterprise objectives through monitoring, timely service restoration, and tuning.
Duties include capacity planning, workload modeling, system maintenance/administration, and diagnostics. Works closely with the Sr. Manager and acts as a liaison between the United Hub/Regional Management and Supplier’s Authorized Subcontractors providing services including, but not limited to, break-fix field services, project contractor work and other United or Supplier Third Party Contractors. Provides consultation and direct technical support in life cycle planning, problem management, integration, and systems programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assisting in the design, testing, evaluation, implementation, and support for various Critical Infrastructure hardware deployments. (UPS systems, Rack mounted PDU’s, copper backbone cabling, and fiber optic backbone)
  • Partners with business units to determine set-up of meeting rooms AV hardware/software requirements
  • Assist customers with CCTV network configuration
  • Provide on-site, and on-call 7x24x365 support, as well as travel requirements as needed
  • Broad technical knowledge of IT Hardware and Software including desktops, laptops, mobile devices
  • Duties include system maintenance/ administration, diagnostics, automated imaging of PC equipment/IT Infrastructure, installation and removal of PC equipment/IT Infrastructure, inventory & movement of PC equipment/IT Infrastructure
  • Manage day to day activities for enterprise level support for iOS and Android
  • Networking: IP configuration.
  • Provide advanced technical support for end users: recording software, camera hardware, and mobile applications.
  • Works closely with Network Engineering on implementation of WAN, LAN, VOIP and Wi-Fi systems that support the enterprise.
  • Advanced customer service (in-person, phone, email, and chat)
  • Has responsibility for the engineering, design, build, and run of our Mobile platforms
  • Provides AirWatch Mobile Device Management (MDM) support for mobile devices.
  • Basic HTML coding experience

Required Education & Experience:

  • Prior IT project management experience
  • Knowledge of multiple systems (operating/integration/end user/infrastructure) LAN room fiber and copper cabling standards (BICSI / EIA / TIA / NFPA/ NEC)
  • Must be able to work outside of business hours on occasion
  • Bachelors or associates degree or industry certification in an applicable IT field OR 10+ years of applicable IT experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship required.
