Position Summary:

The Portfolio Manager liaises with clients and ensures that the Cloud Services team meets the agreed Service Level Agreements and the delivery of projects and services within the agreed timelines and budgets. The portfolio is responsible for the management of multiple projects simultaneously including scheduling, staffing, and coordinating required project activities with client and internal resources. The executive must be aligned to the overall SAP strategy and develop key relationships within Cloud Hosting & Security Line of Business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the customer SAP value management strategy.
  • Manage a team of Cloud Services reporting consultants.
  • Responsible for ensuring that cloud services are certified by application and cloud providers e.g SAP.
  • Strategic Selling (Leverage the existing customer portfolio.
  • Assist the Sales and Pre Sales teams with customer engagements
  • Relationship management between SAP and Vodacom cloud team.
  • Ensure integration of business processes within Vodacom to support Cloud customers
  • Lead competitive learning by market research, evaluating competitor products, programs, weaknesses, strengths, and strategies, and then educating key internal stakeholders to develop competitive solutions.
  • Develop and manage cloud service support processes.
  • Assist in the development and management of account plans for strategic customers.
  • Responsible for meeting with customers every month to present the cloud team’s service delivery and compliance to Service Level Agreements.
  • Deliver all SAP marketing initiatives together with the Vodacom Marketing team, including relevant press releases.
  • Form part of the African Super User Group (AFSUG) and contribute to the relevant special interest group.
  • Alignment of Vodacom and SAP strategy.

What you’ll have:

  • SAP Certification.
  • Project and Team Management experience.
  • Project Management Certification (advantageous).
  • Matric/ Grade 12 is essential.
  • 3+ Years of Management experience in a professional services organization.
  • 5+ years experience in engaging with customers on commercial engagements.
  • Bachelor Degree / Diploma (Essential).
