Job Overview:
This dynamic role will see you design the solution architecture for features built on the Officeworks digital platform. You will work closely with development squads, business stakeholders and other architects to satisfy both the business and technical requirements and deliver value to customers.
What you’ll do:
- Contributing to the enterprise architecture, including principles and standards, and working with development teams to ensure these are incorporated into their implementations
- Ensuring all software is developed efficiently, released safely, and operates reliably and securely
- Designing the architecture and the systems integration
- Providing the strategic direction for the Officeworks digital platform in line with the overall company strategies and growth objectives
- Maintaining knowledge of market trends and innovation to drive continuous improvement of the digital platform

You can quickly understand complex technical situations and clearly communicate the available options to a broad audience. You should have the following key skills and experience:
- AWS architecture knowledge, including Docker, ECS, S3, SQS, Lambda, etc.
- Knowledge of Node, JavaScript and React
- Previous experience in technical leadership roles
- A wide range of architecture experience including microservice and cloud-native architecture experience
- 10+ years IT experience, primarily with software development exposure and a minimum of 5 years in a complex IT environment
- Experience in the eCommerce / retail business domain
