National Accounts Manager – Alshaya Careers

Position Summary:

We are looking for a National Account Manager to join the Alshaya Food team in Dubai. You will need to be an extremely disciplined, motivated individual with an entrepreneurial approach and the ability to champion and drive change.
You will be accountable for the development and implementation of new business for Alshaya Food, whilst managing and growing existing accounts.
The ability to work on multiple projects is a must. Prioritizing workload and utilizing the internal support network, the National Account Manager will have the ability to build strong internal relationships working closely with cross functional teams.
The successful candidate will need to be commercially astute, with a track record of managing relationships with customers, understanding their needs and delivering appropriate solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a team player
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders in the business, across Alshaya brands and external customers
  • You will manage the end to end sales cycle from NPD to launch
  • Be solutions focused and create innovative solutions through a consultative approach
  • Constantly review the industry to identify local market trends, opportunities and areas of growth
  • Have an understanding of the local market and have an established network in retail, Horeca and foodservice
  • Be flexible to travel throughout the Middle East
  • Develop, execute and monitor the joint Business Plan with all internal and external customers

Required Education & Experience:

  • Prove to be strong in analytic thinking
  • A thorough understanding of the industry and channel structure and the inter-relationships between them
  • A desire to ‘challenge positively – think big and take a proactive approach to the customer.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales in an FMCG environment – food manufacturing is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills – both in group and individual situations
  • Excellent communication, project management and leadership skills, respecting the company’s values
  • An aptitude to deal with a variety of different people within the customer & to establish relationships
