Position Summary:
Dis-Chem Pharmacies requires an established Nail Technician in New Market. You will be responsible for building your very own clientele base and creating awareness of the various nail treatments that Dis-Chem has to offer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customers with a high standard of nail care and nail painting techniques
- Attend training to keep abreast of new products and treatment techniques
- Manage stock levels according to Dis-Chem procedures – report on short, damaged and expired stock
- Adhere to Dis-Chem’s treatment and service payment procedures
- Ensure monthly treatment and product targets are met
- Ensure effective and accurate merchandising or promotions
- Ensure new customers complete customer cards
- Complete and submit accurate monthly reports
- Conduct monthly promotions
- Report on customer compliments and complaints
Required Education & Experience:
- Willing and able to work retail hours
- Strong command of the English language
- Grade 12 / Matric or Senior Certificate
- At least 2 years’ technical experience in a professional beauty/nail salon environment
- Trustworthy and honest
- Possess general knowledge of nail technology (correct product application techniques) and nail contra-indications for nail treatments
- Nail Technician Certificate (gel and acrylic)
- Be a team player, have good customer relations
