Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated business development and marketing professional to support our Eastern Win team, based in the buildings and infrastructure business unit. You will be confident at networking, meeting new clients and bringing in new opportunities to the business. You will also possess knowledge of techniques used in successfully delivering marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordination of promotional plans/campaign activity including social media
- Building, managing, and driving forward the marketing and profile raising of the division by:
- Assisting with the development and execution of marketing/business development strategies
- Management/development of events including local technical talks, networking events, webinars
- Networking at local industry events, developing relationships with industry marketers
- Supporting the Divisional Win team lead with marketing and business development activities
- Undertaking market research
- Identifying opportunities for raising profile such as keynote speeches at city events or involvement in workshops, public consultation etc
- Working within the Eastern Division in Sheffield, Leeds, Newcastle and York
- Acting as a champion of the organisation’s values (PRIDE)
Required Education & Experience:
- Pays meticulous attention to detail, is accurate and can work to demanding deadlines
- Personal drive and desire to win – instils this culture within the Win team
- Is imaginative, persuasive, and persistent
- Has a strong personality who understands the principals of business development
- Has first class personal and communication skills with the person being confident to engage with senior directors within the business and key influencers within the region
- Has a genuine interest in the development opportunities that exist within the city of Sheffield
