The M365 Scale Experiences Team is focused on making the M365 experiences faster and seamless while not losing sight of the cost of running the service. The experiences built on top of our core platform positively impact people around the world.
We are looking for a leader with a growth mindset in the latency space. The ideal candidate is familiar with latency initiatives and is eager to take on new challenges, results oriented and collaborative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be a self-starter and can deal with lots of ambiguities
- Partner with other Product and Engineering Groups to drive execution and demonstrate end to end ownership of complex, cross group projects to successful completion
- Have passion for quality and performance
- Identify, influence and drive big, latency opportunities, conceptualize how we should evolve our tech stack and drive these projects to completion.
- Learn quickly with a growth mindset.
- Is comfortable presenting to Leadership on a regular basis
- Have good project management skills
- Build a culture of snappy experience as a feature.
Required Education & Experience:
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
- Prior experience in performance optimization specifically around reducing latency.
- Great problem-solving skills with strong technical proficiency and strategic thinking
- Prior experience working on cloud platforms
- 6+ years of technical program or product management experience and shipping products in a tech company
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt quickly to new technology and processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
