Job Overview:

Maintenance Planner/Coordinator to join our team as soon as possible. In preparation for the opening of the new terminal as our Facilities Maintenance Planner, key role within the Facilities Management team to support all physical infrastructure activities within Terminal Operators responsibility. The planner will be the primary point of contact for both internal and external customers and will provide the necessary daily support to the FM team and contractors. This role will also be responsible for operational control of key Building systems that will monitor both the Health and Performance of critical Terminal Assets. You will be part of a quickly growing team, helping not only to create an attractive passenger terminal, but also to develop the Terminal Operator company with your expertise and personality.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide any Escort activities as needed to escort FM contractors throughout the terminal
  • Ensures events/incidents are logged into the Maximo, attended to and resolved as per SLAs, using the standard work order and event/incident management procedures
  • Monitors subcontractors’ performance on planned maintenance and event management and coordinate with respective management
  • Perform periodic walk throughs of the terminal to verify that all FM related maintenance work follows FM procedures
  • Assist in Project coordination for any FM related contracts as it relates to logistics, paperwork and project communications
  • Informs and puts measures in place for any alerts received by a Facility Maintenance system
  • Performs Daily Inspections in the terminal as required
  • Monitors all KPIs and SLAs for compliance
  • Informs and collaborates if there is an event needing other stakeholders’ involvement
  • Issues shift/daily reports as required
  • Confirms that all required documentation related to Work Order Execution is maintained accordingly
  • Acts as first resolution provider wherever possible
  • Monitors Building Management System(s) status and takes appropriate action to address any received faults through management of Corrective Work Order
  • Assists technicians in locating parts, supplies, and materials
  • Contributes to reporting & analysis to identify trends, suggest condition-based maintenance actions, and enhances the ITOCC Operation
  • Ensures that all schedules and work orders for Planned Maintenance are in place and stakeholders are informed
  • Assist Contract Managers to perform Inventory Audits related to FM Contractor storerooms
  • Monitors execution, receives reports on executed PM Work Orders and validates that information is logged into the CMMS system (Maximo)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and 5 years in Facilities Management and Maintenance; or technical associate degree and 10 years in Facilities Management and Maintenance
  • Experience in a large, complex airport environment is an asset
  • Excellent Organizational skills
  • 2 years of experience within the aviation sector within the Facilities Maintenance Organization preferred
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and professional working relationships at multiple project levels ranging from tradespeople to executives
  • Ability to work without direct supervision, taking responsibility and ownership of assigned tasks
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills
