The actuarial department requires the service of a self-motivated individual, a go-getter with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and under pressure. The successful candidate will focus on life valuations and all actuarial duties pertaining to the role.
Required Education & Experience:
- Prophet, SQL and Excel exposure
- Technical proficiency and an eagerness to expand skills and develop knowledge
- Nearly/newly qualified Actuary (at least all CTs)
- An ability to thrive in a busy environment with multiple deliverables
- The ability to interact in a team-environment
- Strong analytical and modelling capabilities
- Actual vs expected experience investigations and assumption setting
- 1-3 years Life Valuations experience
- The production and reporting of annual and quarterly reserving and solvency results under IFRS/SAM
- High attention to detail
- Embedded Value and Value of New Business calculations and interpretations
