Position Summary:
Our Integrated Supply Chain Logistics Materials Management Team is looking for an Inventory Services Specialist to join their team in West Palm Beach, FL. This role interfaces with enterprise managers to disposition surplus, obsolete, or unwanted material. Working to manage the efficient disposal/sale of material from FPL facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs technical tasks of controlled scope, to support timely availability of material for scheduled jobs
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Works independently in all aspects of warehouse and physical inventory control practices
- Provides support for: facility transfers, secondary locations, remote sites, overhauls, and refueling outages
- Performs in-depth research of material requests and material receipt inspection, using the appropriate on-line material management system
Required Education & Experience:
- High School Grad / GED
- Experience:4+ years
- Valid Driver’s License (NON CDL)
- DOT Hazmat Trng Accordnce 49 CFR 172.704
- Industrialized Powered Forklift Qual
