Position Summary:
The key purpose of this role is to maintain and grow a portfolio of Global Corporate Clients headquartered in the US. (‘the US’), in close co-ordination with regional and local GC coverage bankers. The job holder will be expected to build meaningful relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the parent organization, assist in driving the development of client relationships within the US corridor across Africa thus maximizing the revenue opportunity, coordinating the client strategic plan, supporting the development of Pan-African client relationships in collaboration with the local Country Bankers, overseeing effective execution (including inter alia Credit Approvals, Compliance, Project Management) and serving as a primary point of contact and support for the client relationship team.
Required Education & Experience:
- Experience of conducting business in Africa or other emerging markets
- Minimum 5 years successful and relevant relationship management and corporate banking experience with knowledge of Corporate
- Banking offering, including a minimum of 3 years independent accountability for sales revenue.
- Candidate must have an “Employment Authorization Document” (EAD) allowing them to work in the U.S.
- Business, Finance or accounting related bachelor’s degree and/or professional qualifications in Banking/Treasury.
