Position Summary:

This role is only open to individuals who have the requisite right to work in the United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To build constructive relationships with clients across the Absa Group to enable seamless and professional client service at all times.
  • Relationship Management Support
  • Assist with deal origination and business development.
  • To ensure the highest levels of risk management, operational rigour, and regulatory compliance at all times
  • To actively support the growth of the client portfolio through recruitment of new clients
  • To provide the International Banker with comprehensive support to optimize excellent client relationships with Absa;

Required Education & Experience:

  • Ideal candidate will have a broad and commercial understanding of how the banking sector operates.
  • Knowledge/working experience of the African Continent (Culture, Economy, Business Environment).
  • A completed bachelor degree with commercial awareness, customer experience and strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Corporate & Investment Banking, exposure to UK & European Multinational Companies and working knowledge of CRM Systems (Salesforce) beneficial.
