Position Summary:
This role is only open to individuals who have the requisite right to work in the United Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities:
- To build constructive relationships with clients across the Absa Group to enable seamless and professional client service at all times.
- Relationship Management Support
- Assist with deal origination and business development.
- To ensure the highest levels of risk management, operational rigour, and regulatory compliance at all times
- To actively support the growth of the client portfolio through recruitment of new clients
- To provide the International Banker with comprehensive support to optimize excellent client relationships with Absa;
Required Education & Experience:
- Ideal candidate will have a broad and commercial understanding of how the banking sector operates.
- Knowledge/working experience of the African Continent (Culture, Economy, Business Environment).
- A completed bachelor degree with commercial awareness, customer experience and strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Corporate & Investment Banking, exposure to UK & European Multinational Companies and working knowledge of CRM Systems (Salesforce) beneficial.
