Position Summary:
The Information, Data & Analytics Services (IDAS) Branch, within the Office of the Chief Information Officer is seeking qualified candidates to provide support to IDAS leadership in the areas of governance and policy management. In this role, the incumbent supports the IDAS leadership team in ensuring its strategic objects are met through successful implementation of information governance, policy, risk, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide/develop policy input for the long- and short-range strategies, including budgeted projects, and prepares annual plans and performance forecasts.
- Apply IT program/project management, leadership, and subject matter expertise (i.e. Federal and industry approaches) to IT strategic planning, risk, governance, and policy management in accordance with federal, NASA, and OMB policies and procedures.
- Perform audit liaison roles and responsibilities to facilitate the coordination and collection of information in response to NASA or federal audit requests.
- Participate in Agency Level Office working groups as an IDAS representative.
- Perform contract management responsibilities which includes the oversight and task monitoring of IDAS contracts.
- Ensure audit management includes communicating, tracking and delivering timely audit responses.
Required Education & Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade, which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above.
To qualify at the GS-14 level, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level:
- Applying service delivery process and procedures in accordance with federal governance and policy requirements;
- Developing recommendations to improve programs efficiency and effectiveness;
- Leading IT strategic planning and service management activities; and
- Performing contract management and oversight.
