Position Summary:
Under the direction of an IT Supervisor II, the incumbent serves as a Lead Systems Administrator supporting business operations in the San Bernardino District Office/HQ and surrounding area.
Key Responsibilities:
The incumbent collaborates with management and provides leadership for the administrative and technical support. This includes but is not limited to Installation, Configuration, and implementation, change management, monitoring, and performance tuning of systems. The incumbent is responsible for the integrity of the data and the efficiency and performance of the system, maintains storage services that allow for internal and/or external access to district data and includes managing multiple servers, administering security, and configuring necessary components and software, performs complex activities of the System Development Lifecycle which includes systems: analysis, design, build, test, maintenance, and operations. Additionally, the incumbent provides lead support for all phases of end user device life cycle management including procurement, deployment, installation, configuration, maintenance, operations, and surplus. The incumbent collaborates with peers and management to update and recommend standards, processes and procedures, and technology practices. The incumbent also performs functions including, but are not limited to, researching, writing, reporting, presenting, etc.
Required Education & Experience:
