Job Overview:
As a Pastry Supervisor, you would be responsible for overseeing and participating in daily pastry operations in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards
- Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items
- Oversee and participate in the creation, preparation, production and baking of all pastries, breads, rolls and desserts for food and beverage outlets
- Oversee the display of baked products on mobile carts according to specifications
- Develop new products for a-la-carte and catering menus, as needed
- Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
- Ensure pastry cooks prepare pastry food items according to designated recipes and quality standards and inspect food quality and presentation
