What you’ll do:
- Assembles and disassembles power and lighting equipment for exhibits, meetings, and banquets.
- Communicate with other foreman to go over what work needs to be done within the hotel and meeting spaces.
- Installs, inspects, maintains and repairs facility electrical equipment and systems to ensure safe operation and functionality.
- Prepare preventative maintenance schedules.
- Responds to guest calls, resolves guest complaints and responds to emergency situations.
- Preparing schedules, issuing the team work orders, and following up to ensure that each task is done in a timely manner.
- Meet and schedule jobs with contractors to ensure hotel is getting the best quality work at the best price.
- Prepare material and part orders.
- Performs preventive maintenance and tests all electrical systems, sub-systems and equipment which includes disassembly, replacement, cleaning and repair.
