Job Overview:

As Events Manager, your role will be to provide excellent and comprehensive event orders to deliver and exceed customer expectations. Maximise revenue through actively upselling. Consistently strive to develop relationships and ensuring customer loyalty to Hilton. Assist in training new and junior team members.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage an events schedule to maximise yield
  • Participate in hotel promotional activities
  • Handle event management for all events over 100 delegates and produce accurate event order
  • Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events
  • Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach
  • Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds
  • Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs

What you’ll have:

  • High level of IT skills
  • Demonstrated at least 2 years of previous experience working in Conference & Events planning
  • Excellent grooming standards
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Knowledge of Delphi Software
