Job Overview:
As a Supervisor, you are responsible for supervising operations of the Gild Bar to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. You will also be required to communicate and delegate tasks to the team to ensure departmental targets are achieved.
What you’ll do:
- Assist with annual and mid-year appraisals with team members under your responsibility
- Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Communicate and delegate tasks to the team
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
- Be environmentally aware
- Assist Food and Beverage management with training and development of team members
- Assist Food and Beverage management with achieving financial targets
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Represent needs of the team
- Ensure compliance of brand standards
What you’ll have:
- Previous experience in hotel industry
- Strong previous bar experience
- Positive attitude
- Willingness to develop team members and self
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
- Previous experience in supervising and/or delegation
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work on your own or in teams
