Job Overview:
As a Team Member for the Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh – The Caledonian you are responsible for overseeing your department to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience in accordance with the True Waldorf Service Standards.
What you’ll do:
- Learn and provide 1st class treatments to guests and members
- Manage and keep the room and surrounding spa area cleaned and stocked
- Ensure client experience is proficient including bookings, payments, consultation cards and product recommendations
- Cover reception duties including welcoming guests, treatment reservations, spa tours and product sales
- Take care of working equipment and sample inventory of products
- Efficient and friendly support to other Team Member within own and other departments
- Have current knowledge of treatments, and ensure all treatments comply with current legislation and company standards.
- Know about the facilities of the hotel and Hilton International in general
- Assist and work towards monthly sales targets
- Interact and communicate effectively with clients, members, team members, guests, and management team
- As a Beauty Therapist you will work your hours per week, including, but not always, weekends and bank holidays
- Ensuring the satisfaction and loyalty of guests by optimal service taking account of the established standards
What you’ll have:
- Good communication and excellent grooming standards
- Beauty Therapy Level 3 Qualification and upwards.

- Relevant qualifications for the role: Minimum NC Beauty Care (SCQF Level 6) or equivalent- working towards HNC or HND Beauty Therapy.
