Job Overview:

You are an experienced restaurant, bar and retail concept creator and brand development professional with experience in complex business with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Responsible for the management and execution of Brand Food & Beverage development strategies and solutions across all brands in Middle East, Africa and Turkey, primarily focused on restaurant and bar development, while supporting the new brand and product F&B development lifecycle. You are responsible for contributing and supporting high quality, profitable and contemporary food and beverage solutions that aim to exceed the guest expectation within our franchised and managed hotels, enhance the value proposition for our brands and appeal to the local dining clientele within the market.

What you’ll do:

The Senior Manager, Brand Food & Beverage Development – EMEA will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Manage the concept development process for the Brand Food & Beverage Development department, creating detailed concept briefs for restaurant and bar projects in InDesign and PowerPoint for review, distribution to internal and external stakeholders
  • Produce and deliver presentations and communications tools/aides to support Brand F&B Development’s mission and strategy, especially in the set up and growth of paid concepting and branding services for franchise owners in region
  • Support/manage special F&B projects including new brand and product development, as needed
  • Assist where able on the repackaging and creation of projects involving restaurant and bar prototypes
  • Assist Snr Directors Brand Food & Beverage Development (EMEA) with creative development/ presentation support using skills in graphic design and copy writing
  • Conduct market research and analysis to support Brand F&B Development in region and as needed, contributing to the team’s database regarding trends, customer profiles and market research

What you’ll have:

  • Degree or academic study in Interior Design, Graphic Design, Culinary/F&B Management, Business Administration, Marketing/Branding and or General/Liberal Arts
  • BA/ BSc /degree or equivalent, or significant work experience in lieu thereof
  • Ability to demonstrate a proven track record in a diverse hospitality industry experience preferred, with a mix of experience in operational F&B/hospitality
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other regional language
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of time
  • High proficiency in MS PowerPoint, InDesign, Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Suite, Sharepoint
  • Ability to work independently and manage independent work within larger groups as appropriate
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills, as well as excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to manage change, resolve conflicts and ensure collaboration within teams and/or units
  • Management or internship experience in Food & Beverage operations or related industry
  • Absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information
  • Ability to prioritize short and long-term project work in coordination with multiple stakeholders
  • Maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity
  • Rich and significant knowledge of current hospitality brands, F&B concept, restaurant/bar design, trends
  • Ability to assemble general project budget, timeline and coordinate project management through execution to launch
  • Experience in a design or concepting agency also preferred as part of experience mix
