Job Overview:

The Senior Manager, Distribution Account Management will be responsible for executing Hilton’s global distribution strategy in Europe, Middle East & Africa. The position will oversee day-to-day account management of an assigned account portfolio of distribution channels including Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), Group RFP channels and Wholesalers. The main responsibilities include building trusted relationships with accredited channels, developing and executing strategic account plans, holding regular business reviews, auditing hotel participation, identifying, testing and implementing new opportunities to drive revenue, and troubleshooting issues in partnership with the Distribution Operations team.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop, implement, and execute business processes to support the department
  • Lead bi-weekly account review calls with assigned partners
  • Ensure hotels adhere to Hilton brand standards, and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Develop strategic account plans for key partners in partnership with the other continent Distribution teams
  • Build trusted relationships with assigned distribution partners
  • Support the new hotel team with activating new hotels, and ensure hotels are aware of our distribution strategy
  • Partner with Internal departments to optimize hotel performance and address issues with assigned channels
  • Assist in evaluating the business opportunity of potential new partners and support implementation
  • Serve as the global account leader for channels headquartered in Europe, Middle East & Africa
  • Collaborate with peers in other Continents, as part of the global account team for OTAs based outside Europe, Middle East & Africa
  • Hold quarterly business reviews with assigned partners
  • Oversee process-improvement projects to increase execution efficiency with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Perform any other job duties as directed
  • Review hotel performance in partnership with regional Revenue Management and Global Distribution, and identify trends, issues and best practices
  • Arrange and lead hotel training classes/webinars to educate hotels on the available opportunities

What you’ll have:

  • Ability to work well across all levels of the organization, including senior leaders
  • Experience managing complex account relationships and executing focused account plans
  • Ability to develop and maintain a deep understanding of Hilton’s business processes and systems as they relate to Revenue Management, Distribution and Sales across brands and geographies
  • Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
  • Solid account management skills
  • Capability to handle multiple projects within deadlines; work effectively under time and resource constraints; effectively balance multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve business priorities
  • Additional Requirements (i.e. % of travel time, etc.): Approximately 20% travel time
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual or Multilingual
  • Minimum Education: Bachelors / Undergraduate Degree or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience working in a hospitality or online environment
