Job Overview:

The Hilton Brighton Metropole is now recruiting for a dynamic and creative Executive Head Chef. The Executive Head Chef will be the face of the Food and Beverage department at this vibrant seafront hotel. This is the largest hotel on the south coast with 500m of events space so extensive knowledge of banqueting is essential. You will be able to put your stamp on the food at the hotel whist prioritising locally sourced produce.

What you’ll do:

An Executive Chef with Hilton Hotels & Resorts is responsible for managing all aspects of the kitchen to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while seeking customer feedback, training staff, controlling costs, and covering all business needs.

What you’ll have:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Proven experience in high volume banqueting managing a multi million pound turnover
  • A creative, dynamic and innovative individual
  • Creative menu planning with an interest in seasonal and local food
  • Stable and current experience as Executive Chef or experienced Sous Chef with a retail mind-set
  • Able to help build and maintain a strong team
  • Excellent kitchen financials and advanced budget planning across all food outlets
  • Strong Banqueting and à la carte experience
