Job Overview:

As Manager, Social Media Strategy, you have the opportunity to support the strategic direction and execution of an integrated marketing roadmap for some of Hilton’s global portfolio of 17 brands. This will help drive revenue, increase market presence, and build brand loyalty with new and existing customers.
You will collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams to create and execute social media strategies and content. You will report to a Senior Manager, Social Media Strategy, and work with the Global Brand Marketing team to help implement strategies and activation plans around key initiatives.

What you’ll do:

  • Produce social media reports and provide recommendations backed by data.
  • Build an editorial content calendar in support of brand marketing goals.
  • Brief and work closely with creative partners to create compelling content.
  • Partner with the Hotel Social Support team to build marketing toolkits by brand for hotels to utilize property social outlets.
  • Serve as the point of contact for social content captures at brand activations. This includes supervising agency and influencer content captures with real-time feedback or approval of content and working closely with the community management team.
  • The manager will produce quarterly reports and should feel comfortable pulling and analyzing social media analytics.

What you’ll have:

  • Strong understanding of effective brand positioning and creative strategy
  • Experience with Sprinklr or similar social media management software (SMMS)
  • Experience media planning and/or reporting efforts for highly budgeted social media campaigns
  • Two (2) years of marketing project management experience, including partnering with internal marketing teams and external agencies
  • Five (5) years of experience in brand marketing, digital marketing, social media, content marketing, or a related field
  • Motivated self-starter with high integrity, passion, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Three (3) years of marketing campaign management experience (start to finish: from strategy concept to creative briefs to final presentation)
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely express sophisticated ideas, results, and areas of opportunity
  • Desire to bring stories to life in social
  • Outstanding influencing skills and ability to be an effective internal evangelist for new growth opportunities via acquisitions
  • BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree
  • Efficient teamwork and presentation skills, with a proven record of partnering and influencing cross- functional teams
  • Ability to write effective creative briefs and constructively relay feedback to cross-functional Hilton teams and outside agencies to guide creative strategy and development
  • Experience building comprehensive social media plans that can break through and deliver on business and marketing objectives
  • Strong project management skills and strong attention to detail, with proven success prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously from conception through to completion, ensuring deadlines and expectations are met
  • Experience with influencers/content creators across various social platforms
