Job Overview:
The beautiful, family friendly DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando – Disney Springs Area® is seeking an On-Call Food and Beverage Server to join their team! This 229-room property is an official Walt Disney World® hotel located less than a mile from shopping, dining, and entertainment at Disney Springs®. A Food and Beverage Server is responsible for serving food and/or beverages to guests in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. For this role, candidates would work within the In-Room Dining operations on property to receive (via phone), package and deliver orders “knock and drop” style to hotel guests.
What you’ll do:
As a Food and Beverage Server, you would be responsible for serving food and/or beverages to guests in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations
- Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials
- Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Ensure serving station is well-stocked at all times
- Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
- Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
