What you’ll do:

As a Security Dispatcher, you will coordinate/communicate with all hotel team members as needed provide a safe and secure environment for guests and employees, using communications and service industry skills. Specific tasks required of the position include (but are not limited to):

  • Answer and dispatch internal guest calls for requests to security/engineering/housekeeping and safety hotline calls and respond in a timely manner based on priority (inputting requests in Hotsos as needed). Dispatch security to all requests for assistance by guests and emplyoees.
  • Provide support with internal guest calls/requests. Listen and provide accurate information to guests and employees. Document legibly all appropriate incident information.
  • Manage hotel lost and found collection/log.
  • Monitor life safety systems and CCTV.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by supervisor or Director of Security based on departmental needs.
  • Manage the “team member window” where company phones, walkie-talkies and keys are issued and returned. Assist with team member bag check.
