Key Responsibilities:
- Performing tasks related to the closeout of grants; and
- Administering or monitoring grants to ensure compliance;
- Performing project monitoring activities and conducting site visits.
- Reviewing grants applications to ensure completeness; and
- Interpreting or applying laws, regulations, or policies related to grant management operations;
- Other related aspects of the programmatic grant lifecycle.
- Providing technical assistance and supporting programmatic closeout.
- Reviewing, awarding and administering grants, Cooperative Agreements, or other related instruments.
- Conducting post-award monitoring activities to ensure funds are used according to regulations.
- Providing technical assistance to stakeholders on process improvements and tasks related to the grant management systems.
Required Education & Experience:
- You must be a U.S. citizen to be considered for this position.
- 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M
- Travel will be required.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
- You must be able to obtain and maintain a Government credit card.
- You qualify for this position at the IC-11 level if you possess the following: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (IC-09) in the Federal Service. This experience may have been gained in the federal government, a state or local government, a non-profit organization, the private sector, or as a volunteer;
- You qualify for this position at the IC-12 level if you possess the following: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (IC-11) in the Federal Service. This experience may have been gained in the federal government, a state or local government, a non-profit organization, the private sector, or as a volunteer
- You must successfully pass a background investigation.
